CALIFORNIA teen Jake Davidson has taken Danish model Nina Agdal to his prom, after Sports Illustrated cover girl Kate Upton declined his video invitation.
Davidson's YouTube clip asking Upton to his senior prom went viral, attracting 2.6 million hits, according to US magazine.
Agdal, who volunteered to take Upton's place when a scheduling clash meant she couldn't attend the Santa Monica bash, was recently named Rookie of the Year in the magazine's swimsuit edition.
Agdal, who is somewhat taller than Davidson (who stands, he says, '5'9' '� on a good day') wore a pale green halter dress to the event with a corsage from her date. Davidson wore a grey tuxedo.
Agdal never attended a high school prom before and tweeted afterwards: "Had such a great prom night. Thank you jakedavidson23 for being an awesome date!'
Davidson posted a photo of the pair together to his Twitter account as well as the comment: "@NinaAgdal you are the best! thanks so much for everything."
She responded, "you are! Thank you babe."
